Getting started

How do I start a fake live stream?

Open HoloFame, tap the red Go Live button on the home screen, choose how many fake viewers you want, and tap Start. The simulated chat, gifts and donations begin within a few seconds.

Why does the app ask for camera and microphone access?

HoloFame puts your camera feed on the simulated stream. The microphone is used so the AI viewers can react to what you say (Voice Reactions). All processing happens on your device — nothing is uploaded.

Troubleshooting

The chat isn't responding to my voice

1. Open Settings → Voice Reactions in the app and make sure it's on.
2. iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Speech Recognition: ensure HoloFame is allowed.
3. iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone: ensure HoloFame is allowed.
4. Restart the app.

Dual camera doesn't work / face cam doesn't appear

Dual-camera streaming requires iPhone XS / iPad Pro 2018 or newer (Apple A12 chip or above). Older devices automatically fall back to single-camera mode. Toggle it under Settings → Dual Camera.

Voice changer crashed the stream

If the voice changer freezes the stream, force-close the app and reopen — the audio engine resets cleanly. If it still happens, please email us with your device model and iOS version.

Stream looks rotated on iPad

Hold the iPad in the orientation you started the stream in. If it still looks rotated, update to the latest version of HoloFame; we shipped an iPad orientation fix in v2.16.

Filters / face masks don't load

Filters download on first use. Make sure you have a working Internet connection on first launch and reopen the Filters tab.

Premium subscription

What does Premium unlock?

• Up to 500,000 fake viewers (vs 50,000 free).
• Coin earning multiplier (3×).
• Edit comments and unlock Hater Mode.
• Verification badge on your fake profile.
• No ads.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS: open the App Store, tap your avatar → Subscriptions, select HoloFame, then Cancel Subscription. Android: open Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → HoloFame → Cancel.

Restore purchases on a new device

Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with, open HoloFame, then Premium → Restore. Lifetime and subscriptions transfer automatically.

Refund requests

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us. For App Store purchases use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Play purchases use Google Play support.

Privacy

HoloFame doesn't broadcast anything. The viewers, comments, gifts and donations you see in the app are simulated locally on your device. For full details see our Privacy Policy.
